FTP Logs

FTP logs presents a very strong method for checking on access to your site files. They will display every attempt made to connect using your username. This will include success and failed attempts. If your attempt is successful you will also be able to view a complete list of commands used during this session. We carry these logs for a maximum of 28 days.

To access these facilities please follow these steps:

Web Hosting —> Hosting Accounts —> Edit Hosting Account —> FTP Logs

In summary, the FTP logs show you:

• Login date and time
• Logout date and time
• IP Address
• Ability to view whois of the IP
• Country of origin
• Login status (including wrong passwords)
• FTP commands used
